Sweet Pumpkin Pies
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 1 packet Traditional Zagorisio fillo 750gr (pie leaves)
- 1,5 kg red pumpkin
- 400 gr semolina
- 450 gr Raisins
- 300 gr Sugar
- Walnuts (optional)
Clean and rub the night before the pumpkin. Salt and let drain in colander.
The next day dry well and add the remaining ingredients. Mix well the filling.
Grease the pan and pave half the lubricating pie leaves one by one, add the filling and cover with the remaining leaves. Fold the edges around and scratch the pie.
Sprinkle the pie with water and oil and put it in the oven.
Bake in a moderate temperature. Let the pie cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar and cinnamon.
